Kerasilk Treatment
So after lots of searching we have discovered a very very very good keratin blow dry product.
What actually is a keratin blow dry I hear you say... its also known as a brazilian blow dry. The treatment basically packs out the hair and coats it in keratin which is naturally found in hair skin and nails. It makes the hair smoother and glossier and much easier for you to handle.
The Kerasilk treatment can be customised to the guests hair type. You have the shape and the control elements separate so the guest can choose how much volume or curl to loose/keep in the hair.
One of the best parts about it is that you can style the hair as you like once the treatment is complete, no need to worry about dents from tying the hair up. The guest can still leave with a big bouncy blow dry and you don't need to wait a certain amount of time before washing it.
Love love love this product Please call the salon for more information.

Wedding Season

So wedding season is fast approaching.... have you decided how you will be wearing your hair whether you are a bride, bridesmaid or wedding guest?

One of the biggest mistakes ladies make is trying to be something they aren't. Brides, if you don't normally wear up you may struggle wearing it up on the biggest day of you life. You may feel too naked. On your wedding day you want to look like the best possible version of yourself.
Bridesmaids, if you have different hair styles, face shapes and fashion sense, all trying to pull off the same hairstyle isn't going to work. Why not try having similar styles but each one tailored to the person wearing it.
I believe its important to have a hair trial, but only have one once you have rough idea what you are looking for. It can get very confusing when you have multiple trials of completely different looks.

Wedding guests have fun, take a photo of your outfit to the hair stylist so they can come up with a complimentary hairstyle. Its always good to take a few pictures of hair styles so the stylist can see what your thinking. They will be honest on what will suit you most.We offer a variety of wedding hair packages, where we can do in salon or travel to a venue. Please call 01245 25 1111 for more details and an appointment.

A Blunt Lob

Oh how I love a blunt lob, it has to be the most requested yet most versatile haircut at the moment. No matter what face shape you have there are certain tweaks that can be made to make the haircut suit you.
Whether you want to wear it more edgy and square, blunt as possible, or maybe a little softer with some textured layers.
Now is the season where there is no excuse for bad conditioned hair, if its dead let it go! Chop it off! embrace a new warrior you!
The other great thing is that any colour goes with this style, literally any colour.

The Mid-length continues
Selena Gomez
So after a little time out she is back and brandishing a lovely mid-length hair style.
I love the loose tousled texture its been styled with. Effortless chic.

Emma Stone
Another lovely mid-length style belongs to Emma Stone, loving the flirty waves and super glossy colour.
Apparently summer 2017 is going to be the return of long hair, I think the mid-length will still put a pretty good fight for most popular length.
It really is one of the most versatile hairstyles so chat to your stylist and see what variation will suit your face shape and lifestyle.

Black Mirror- San junipero
Ok so I may be a little late to the party on this one... but who has seen black mirror on Netflix?!
I watched the san junipero episode last night, a little strange and not my favourite one so far but I was loving all the hairstyles.

Its way to strange to explain but basically its a thought on the after life, you could visit different eras and I noticed that one of the main characters had on trend hair no matter what decade she was in.
Yorkie was rocking a little copper bob in the 80's, then it got a little more mid-length and tousled. Into the 90's she brought us a more beachey loose wave on longer hair.
Love finding inspiration in strange places.

Aveda Eclipting colour Collection
Eclipting Colour
So this winter we see a bold new trend, instead of the usual copper and warm brown tones taking us into the new autumn winter season of 2016 we see greens, pinks and dramatic texture.

Its all about shimmers of deep emeralds and a subtle nod to secret panels of colour.
Be bold this winter!!
Colour seems to be edging away from the natural look, this gives you more opportunity to get creative and have a more playful image.

Always wanted that dramatic colour change, this is the season to do it.

Short haired disney princess
Short Haired Disney Princess
So one of the major trends of 2016 is short hair...Everyone of every age and every lifestyle seems to be going for the chop.

Its easier to manage, very versatile and it works with pretty much all hair types.

So there's no need to cling on to those whispy, stringy, snapped ends. Go for a blunter shorter healthier cut.

It looks like everyone is going for the chop even the Disney princesses..... What do you think?
