Wedding Season

So wedding season is fast approaching.... have you decided how you will be wearing your hair whether you are a bride, bridesmaid or wedding guest?

One of the biggest mistakes ladies make is trying to be something they aren't. Brides, if you don't normally wear up you may struggle wearing it up on the biggest day of you life. You may feel too naked. On your wedding day you want to look like the best possible version of yourself.

Bridesmaids, if you have different hair styles, face shapes and fashion sense, all trying to pull off the same hairstyle isn't going to work. Why not try having similar styles but each one tailored to the person wearing it.

I believe its important to have a hair trial, but only have one once you have rough idea what you are looking for. It can get very confusing when you have multiple trials of completely different looks.

Wedding guests have fun, take a photo of your outfit to the hair stylist so they can come up with a complimentary hairstyle. Its always good to take a few pictures of hair styles so the stylist can see what your thinking. They will be honest on what will suit you most.

We offer a variety of wedding hair packages, where we can do in salon or travel to a venue. Please call 01245 25 1111 for more details and an appointment.

A Blunt Lob

Oh how I love a blunt lob, it has to be the most requested yet most versatile haircut at the moment. No matter what face shape you have there are certain tweaks that can be made to make the haircut suit you.

Whether you want to wear it more edgy and square, blunt as possible, or maybe a little softer with some textured layers.

Now is the season where there is no excuse for bad conditioned hair, if its dead let it go! Chop it off! embrace a new warrior you!

The other great thing is that any colour goes with this style, literally any colour.

Its the style of dreams.

The Mid-length continues

Selena Gomez

So after a little time out she is back and brandishing a lovely mid-length hair style.

I love the loose tousled texture its been styled with. Effortless chic.

Emma Stone

Another lovely mid-length style belongs to Emma Stone, loving the flirty waves and super glossy colour.

Apparently summer 2017 is going to be the return of long hair, I think the mid-length will still put a pretty good fight for most popular length.

It really is one of the most versatile hairstyles so chat to your stylist and see what variation will suit your face shape and lifestyle.

Black Mirror- San junipero

Ok so I may be a little late to the party on this one... but who has seen black mirror on Netflix?!

I watched the san junipero episode last night, a little strange and not my favourite one so far but I was loving all the hairstyles.

Its way to strange to explain but basically its a thought on the after life, you could visit different eras and I noticed that one of the main characters had on trend hair no matter what decade she was in.

Yorkie was rocking a little copper bob in the 80's, then it got a little more mid-length and tousled. Into the 90's she brought us a more beachey loose wave on longer hair.

Love finding inspiration in strange places.
