Here are 10 looks seen on the catwalks this autumn winter
Slicked Back
This look is an extension of spring summers dual textured look, slicked to the head at the top with a different texture worn through the rest. Matte and straight or matte and frizzy.
These styles were particularly apparent at Giambattista Valli, Gucci and Ellie Saab.
Seventies meets forties
Big retro waves as seen by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Flat roots and side partings were a must.
Tucked in
Not brave enough to have your hair cut off? Then heres the autumn trend for you, simply tuck your hair into a collar, scarf or necklace to get the Mulberry and Belstaff look.
Fringes
After a summer of long grown out bangs, fringes are back. All kinds are in fashion so there is a style to suit everyone. Full sixties fringes were senn on Anna Sui.
The best part is that most of the fringes were fake, that means a new look with no commitment, YAY!
Have any of you tried the false fringe?
Wet Look and Tangled
Probably the hardest look to pull off, not to everybody's cup of tea but when its done right its a great look. Think just stepped out of the shower....
A more wearable way worn by Lanvin involved the models having damp looking hair in tousled ponytails.
The Low Sleek Pony
Ponytails are back in a huge way, wear them any way you like, high or low, sleek or tousled, parted or slick.
Dead straight ponys were seen at Alexander Wang.
"Real Girl" hair
At Burberry each of the models hair was merely enhanced to make it look great but natural. In many cases products were not even used.
Punk Rock Rebellion
Here seen at Fendi they went all out with faux hawks in vibrant shades but simple styles were also seen on the catwalks.
This seasons girl is fun, fireless and full of attitude!
The Hitchcock Heroine Up-Do
Sophisticated lady like up-dos that suited the glamourous grown up dresses.
There were beehives at Dolce and Gabbana and twists at Carolina Herrera.
This is an uber sexy look with all the class a lady needs.
Crimped
Yes crimping is back... but do not fear, not like you used to do it. Think more of a brushed out wave, or very tight crimping to give an almost feather effect. This is a fun look to play with and makes a great change from straight or big bouncy curls.
So... which of these styles will you be testing out this winter?
